Hi,I am Ankit Halder, an M.tech-PhD Dual Degree student in the Department of Biosciences and Bioengineering(BSBE) at the Indian Institute Of Technology Bombay(IITB). My passion for innovation in health care research strived to develop new skills in understanding biological problems and addressing them through various omics technologies and ML. I am looking forward to building my career in research and undertaking all the challenges in completing a Ph.D. Apart from academics and research, I have a keen interest in traveling, listening to music, and photography.
Research Interests
My research interest lies in the field of omics technologies and big data analysis in the field of cancer research. "Precision medicine is no more a myth"- It motivates me to understand the systems-level changes in cancer patients and decipher novel diagnostics and therapeutics. The analysis of big data generated from Omics technologies makes the field further more challenging and interesting. Identification of novel diagnostic and therapeutic biomarkers in diseases like brain tumors shall help the researchers and clinicians worldwide to assess the patients efficiently.
